  • Ridgid radio quite working

My Ridgid radio just stopped working out of no where. I took apart and the fuse had blown and I replaced it. But now I'm still getting no power and I'm getting power to the board. The power switch is also good. Any ideas would be great.

Assuming that you're talking about the race-scanner radio, the fuse is the only serviceable internal part.

If it doesn't work on either AC or battery, it's a main board issue. If it doesn't work on AC but works on battery, it's a transformer / rectifier issue. Either way, there's no service parts available to correct the issue. If it's still within the warranty period you need to take it to an ASC and they will contact TTI for a replacement radio.

Yup, bring it in and they ship you a new one. Mine did the same thing. Let me guess, The cord is falling apart where it goes into the radio?
