  • Changing Mitre Saw blade & warped screw..

havent changed the blade in a few years, just used the saw for the first time in about 3 years.. wanted to change the blade to a 12' 100 teeth for my laminate flooring, was way to tight, and have now warped the screw.. any pointers of how to get it out & what to replace the warped screw with ??

Try turning the screw in the opposite direction you were turning it.

      +1..........on the direction

FYI: Laminate flooring are generally tough on blades so I usually use inexpensive or worn best blades. Cuts are usually hidden behind mouldings

It does not take long for a blade's smoke box to break. That smell even now makes me want to back to the good ol days of hand saws...
