  • Woodcutting blade for the R3400?

I recently came into posession of a Fuego 5” Fiber Cement Saw, R3400. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a 5" woodcutting blade that will mount to this tool. Google doesn't reveal much. Seems like it would make a right handy trim saw if a blade could be found.

The best I could come up with in 2 mins on hds website.

Test this one for fitment before using.

Hmmm, has me thinking... Use the roller guides from an old tile cutter I have, and mount the extra r3400 I have on them and build my own sliding cross cut saw with its own built in dust collection system... Freaking genius! Hey Ridgid, I only want 5% of profits for this idea.

They would slap the Ryobi name on it.

That first one would work. Correct arbor size and all.
            The 5 1/2" blades will not fit. I've already tried them (I've got a Ryobi 18V 5 1/2).

Thanks. Gonna have to order me one up.

                Eh?

How long will the dust removal fan take for it to clog up with the large chips of wood blocking the fan?

The fan is ridiculously easy to remove. Or just shorten the blades a wee bit (in stock form, they're a pretty close fit to the fan housing).
