I bought a Ridgid 16 gallon stainless steel wet/dry vacuum about 6 months ago. Today was the first time that I filled it up and when the water was about 75% full....the drain seal starting leaking. I looked inside and was amazed to find how cheaply Ridgid is making their vacuums. It's a cheap thin piece of plastic that has tabs that snap into the stainless steel hole. On top of that all of the screws inside are NOT stainless steel so they are heavily rusted. Seriously Ridgid??????? I expect don't expect that when I spend $200.....even if it's purchased from Home Depot.
