  • Ts 2412

I am looking for a rip fence for a Ridgid TS 2412 table saw. I picked up this saw a couple of months ago as a gift but it is missing the rip fence. If I could find a fence for this saw it would make my day. The table saw deck with extentions measures 44"W. x 27" D.. Attached is two pictures showing the the shape of the rails. I would be very greatful to anyone that would be willing to part with a rip fence that will work with this table saw.

    Re: Ts 2412

I'm fairly certain that the fence that came with all of the Ridgid Contractor Style table saws will fit your rails. If you can find one, the fence off of the 3612, 3650 and 3660 has some nice features that the ones that came with the 2412 and 2424 don't have. One other alternative would be to buy one of the after market fence/rail systems. The Delta T-2 seems to get high marks from those who have switched over to it.

unfortunately, i don't think that's correct. here is page 27 from the OM for the 2412 which has a cross section of the OP's front fence rail:

here are copies of pages 30 and 26, respectively, from the OMs for the 3612 and the 3650. note the front fence rail cross section illustrations:

a 3612/50/60 fence will not fit the front rail from the 2412 or 2424.

the t-2 suggestion was a good one. i have a t-2 on an emerson built 10"c-man from the 70s (a clone of the 2412) and it works quite well. the first pic is my 2412 with the c-man serving as it's outfeed table:

this is the c-man with the t-2:

      hope this info helps.
there's a solution to every problem.....you just have to be willing to find it.
