After 14 yrs of daily use, my EB44240 sander (the older, grey model) has finally started to sputter. The idler drum in the belt head has worn out its bronze bushings and, according to eReplacementparts.com, the bushings are obsolete and no longer available from Ridgid. The newer model uses a slightly different idler drum with ball bearings instead of bushings, but a side-by-side comparison of the parts diagrams indicates that the new drum should fit. Has anyone else run into this issue?
