    Who makes the best ones in your experience? From say...1/4"-1.5"?

    If you had asked me ten years ago, Hilti, hands down! I don't know about today? Is Hilti made in china?

      I believe Germany and would still say Hilti.
      Buy cheap, buy twice.

          I regularly have to drill 5/8" holes thru 1' concrete piling. Working time with a bit from hilti after 20 holes is still under 10 min.

          With any other.... gads.

            Actually its Liechtenstein, a tiny country of only about 61 sq miles with a population of ~35,000.

            Their unemployment rate is about 1.5%
