  • Ridgid dado insert

I recently purchased a used Ridgid TS2424 1 table saw. I'm trying to locate a dado insert. I believe the part number is AC1030. I think it has been discontinued by Ridgid. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get one of these?

    Re: Ridgid dado insert

There are many aftermarket sources for these, or you can make your own.
Search for "Zero Clearance Insert" or ZCI here on the forum.

Or try one of many woodworking stores, both online and brick and motar like

    Woodcraft
    Rockler
    Preachtree Woodworking

There are many others, this is just 3 to get you started.

Also search youtube for video on making your own, there are probably a hundred videos
showing how to do this and the principle is the same for just baout any make saw.

Here is one of many threads

"When we build let us think we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."
