can i get this charger opened to see if a solder connection came lose, the red light wont stay on but if i tap or shake it, it kinda comes on and goes off again seems broke but i think im past the 3yr warranty
no visable screws
thanx i found that right after the email but i cant fix it, so i bought the new x4 series multi chemistry but the manual says 2 different things that i can charge all batterys 9.6 thru 18v slide back
i have X2 18v ni cad and X3 li-ion 18v batteries from previous years, but the manual says,
For use with 18v ni-cad and 18v li- ion battery packs, see tool/appliance/battery/charger correlation supplement 988000-302 or 988000-378
what does this mean the batterys seem to slide on just fine but i dont wanna start charging if not ok
