  • Losing power on 4512

Yesterday I had to rip some pressure treated 2x on my 4512 now today I can't cut a 4/4 board without the saw bogging down within in inches. To be sure I didn't damage the blade I changed it out and it still did the same thing.
I open it up to check the belt and it does seem a little loose but I can't seem to figure out how to tighten it. When I look in the manual I can find how to change the belt but not if you can tighten it. Does any one know how this can be done? Does anyone have any ideas on what to check next? Also when I check on the belt it said to loosen a bolt with a 6 mm allen wrench and even shows a picture but I cannot find this bolt.
The saw is still within the 3 year warranty period and I do have it register for LSA but to get it to a service center would be a tremendous chore.

Any help anyone can give I would appreciate it and thank you in advance.
