  • RD80704 Pressure Washer (ALSO!) won't start - sputters, suspect fuel or carb issue

This pressure washer is fairly new - I've only used it 4 or 5 times. I foolishly left fuel in it for probably a couple months. Of course, when I went to start it, I couldn't get it going. ONCE, it fired but wouldn't stay running.

So, I'm assuming my issue is related to old fuel and potentially gumming up carburetor. I have some experience cleaning/mucking around with small engines, but only lawn mower and weed whacker.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of dismantling this thing - so, I thought I'd check here first. The spark plug is clean as a whistle (and dry actually which is why I suspect there is a fuel issue).

Normally I can find youtube videos on everything(!) but can't find any dismantling of one of these Subaru engines.

Thanks in advance. I'll try to be patient and wait for a response before I go and get my hands dirty.

OK, so, a little more research. I BELIEVE my engine is the SP170 (?) Not easy to figure out!
And found this manual on subaru's website - http://robinamerica.com/media/manual...2809063750.pdf

I'm not clear if mine is EFI or carb
