  • New 12V batt. life

I have the new 12V drill driver...and if my continued experience is like the past several...I'm gonna be way dissapointed I didn't buy a Black/Yellow drill driver!

Questions: What is the amp hours on this 12V battery? How many charges is it going to take before I can get at least 1/2 hour out of the battery?

I have used it to screw in 2" screws in 1/2 in plywood and it quit in less than 15 minutes. I also tried using it to screw down 3/4" flooring but gave up because it ran out of juice in less than 10 minutes of screwing in 3" screws. I went back to my 18V and charged the batt. once for the rest of the day. Inform please.

I don't have any first-hand experience with the 12v., but from what I have read on other posts you should experience a 40-50% increase in battery life after 5 or 6 full discharges and charges. My 18v X2 will stay charged all day now, after the 5th charge.
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!!
