  • 18v recip saw throwing blades

My Rigid recip saw is pretty new and has started throwing blades. I thought the chuck might be dirty and have used WD40 on it. The blades feel like they are locked in but after a few cycles of cutting, they pop out. Any Ideas?

I e-mailed Ridgid customer service & I was told if the recipricating saw is popping loose the blade, then the unit should be returned to for replacement, if under warrantee or repaired. As this in not normal.

I returned mine for replacement and the new one does not have this problem.

        I hope this helps
