I've had this saw for about 2 years now and it's been a dandy. However I recently realized that the cutting head isn't pivoting all the way up. I remember when it was new I could cut through a 6 X 8 now I can't get the blade over a 4X4. Something is obstructing the movement but for the life of me I can't figure what it is. Has anyone had this poblem? I'm gonna lube the heck out of it and see what happens but I don't think that's the issue. Any feed back would be appreciated.

The maximum cross cut on the MS1290LZ if 2"x12" or 4"x4".
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

That wasn't in one pass, anyway the point I'm trying to make is that the pivoting action is limited by something. I can barely slide a 4X4 under the blade now
