  • Best blade for an 18v circular saw...

I'm still using the blade that came on my 18v saw (6.5"), and I think it's got some more life left in it. However, I'm looking for opinions on what blade (brand, # of teeth, etc..) is best suited for the saw in order to get faster cuts and more per charge.

I've noticed that the Ridgid saw spins a lot slower than the other brands of cordless saws, and quite honestly can't decide if this is good or bad. But, is there a blade better suited to the slower speed of the saw?

Diablo blades are the best you can get for any saw homedepot.com has a 6 1/2 inch 24 tooth blade for 10 bucks that will work great for your saw.

That Diablo blade should be available in the stores now also. We just got them in this week.

Wish they would get them in at my stores been looking ever time I go in. I did notice RIDGID drill bits at one of my home depots but not the other 2 I frequent I did not even know they had them.
