What Is the difference between them? Beyond color, Gray being made by Ridgid prior to Orange line. Is there any fuction or design changes?

I don't have that particular tool, but if it is like most of the other stuff that was around in the "gray" form, there is probably no difference.

The "Orange" paint scheme came into place with the licensing agreement wwhich gave TTI (Techtronics International) total responsibility for manufacturing and marketing the Ridgid designs. The fact is, at least from what I've read, that many of these tools were being subcontracted to TTI before the agreement anyway.

    Hope this helps,

    CWS

Thanks for the info. I have read that the orange version had some improvements, but I cannot find what they were. Anyone? Doesn't ridgid personnel look at these forums?
