  • Ridgid 5" ROS Junk?

I purchased the Ridgid 5" ROS with a big grin on my face, way cool tool, or so I thought. I put it to a test against my PC 5" with Norton 150 grit paper. First grin deflator was how the ridgid grabed and hopped across the pine test board, second was after sanding half the board with the ridgid and half with the PC then wiping it down with thinner to see the surface finnish. Very noticable swirl marks from the Ridgid. Has anyone else used this sander and noticed anything similar?, or did I get a faulty one? Thank's in advance from a new forum user.

I have had near flawless performance from mine. I love the variable speed and the direct hookup to a shop vac. I have not had any problems with swirl marks. I love mine.
