  • Link Belt for TS3650?

    Hi,
I'm considering in getting those red link belt to replace the stock poly-v belt of my ts3650. Is it a worth replacement?? I appreciate any opinion.

I don't know why you would want to replace the stock belt, but if you do you will have to replace the pulleys too. The link belt is made for a v-groove pulley which is completely different than the pulleys on a 3650.

Lorax is absolutely correct, the link belts won't work on the 3650 without doing some modifications. Are you experiencing some vibration problems?

No there is nothing wrong with my stock belt.
I just read how much the link-belt may help with the performance of contractor saws.

Most saws use a V-belt arraingement. The Ridgdid saws use the poly-v which is not as stiff and does not have the memory like the v-belts do. IMO, the Ridgid belt is as good or better than any other setup out there in contractors saws as far as belts go.
