  • Ridgid 18v "Clean Drive" Brad Nailer issue

Does anyone else have this brad nailer?
I've only had it for a few months, with limited use, but it has always drove me nuts.
I can put in a fully charged battery in it, fill it with nails, and start using it, and over a ~3 minute period, shoot 4-5 nails, and then I will want to shoot another one, and it wont shoot, the LED light just flashes. The only fix I've found it to take the battery out, and put it back in, then I'm good for another 4-10 nails.
Did I get a lemon? Or is this tool known for being a piece of crap.

My suggestion is take it back while you are still within
the 90 day return period. Either get another or move
on to another nailer from RIDGID or another brand of
    you have other batteries.

      Probably good advice Bob.
I just checked my bank statements, and I bought it August 28, Whew, close call. I'll be heading there tomorrow to see if I can get it exchanged. I'd like to stay Ridgid since that's the system I'm invested in.
