Ridgid Battery Adapters

Ordered two Ridgid battery adapters off Amazon. The overall build fit & finish was good. Some batteries required to be inserted firmly into the adapters until they clicked. This step improved with repeated use. All the tools tested performed as designed. Instructions stated NOT to charge the batteries with the adapter and recommended removing the adapter from the battery after use. I will probably leave the adapter on a select tool(s).

I purchased a Milwaukee adapter for old school tool platform to current battery platform on a sawzall . Work ok , but doesn’t click in tight.

Also a Makita 14.4 to 18 for a propress tool. Same issue, doesn’t hold tight and with a high amp tool, you need to keep it pushed in tight.

That's what I've been using. 5amp makita batteries last longer than the ridgid.
