If you recently purchased your multi-material saw there should be a inner flange that accepts 3" 3/8 arbor blades ... If not RIDGID will send you a free one .. Any brand 3" such as Milwaukee or DeWalt blades will work your not confined to RIDGID'S brand.

I opted for the Milwaukee because of dust collection and mainly use it for sheet metal ... and cutting in place drywall . You could try Lowes Canada .

All these different size blades that the various manufacturers make are just begging
people to rig something up when they can't find the right blade which is mostly

because Home Depot AND OTHER STORES DON'T KEEP CONSUMABLES IN STOCK.

And never have. It's one reason I don't (and never will) buy any RIDGID tool that requires a blade only available from RIDGID.
Something like a circular saw or a multi-tool (now that they are interchangeable) I'd go for one of those. But something like this
cutoff saw NFW. I wouldn't buy it with your money because you're just throwing money away if you can't get replacement blades
when you need them. Heck you can't even buy a bunch of spares when you get the tool because they don't have any on the shelf
when the tool first hits the street. So what hope do you have 3 months from now when the intro is over and that tool is now a
memory in some marketing managers portfolio.

According to the HD website for this saw it states, "Compatible with Dremel Saw Blades: SM500, SM540, SM700, SM510C, and SM520C".

As long as the arbor opening is compatible I would think so.

My store in the US does not stock them either, but I can order them (RIDGID #AC7CW61) through the HD website for free home delivery. Is that not an option for you?

I also checked DirectToolsOutlet.com but nothing listed for blades. DTO is TTI's online outlet store for factory blems and reconditioned tools. They have a couple of brick and mortar stores too, but there are very few of those so you are unlikely to be close to one.

It does not appear that individual blades are available from RIDGID. That's sad as I can see someone going through one type of blade and having to buy a set of blades which includes those they have no intention of using.

I found the manual (attached below) for this saw on the HD website, but NOT on RIDGID's website. I downloaded the manual and other than 5 pages of safety warnings it does not have much about operation of the saw. I don't recall it even listing any parts or accessories.

I wish you good luck with this 'tool'. TO me it does not appear to be one of TTI's better offerings. Anyone looking for such a saw I think would do well to shop around and see what's available, with availability of consumables like blades figuring high on the list.

This little multi-material saw is the bomb. Anyone know where to buy the 3" replacement blades. They are NOT stocked at Home Depot in Canada. Thanks in advance for any info.
Working...
