    I agree with you and that they will keep the brand names segmented as they are, all I was getting at was that Ryobi and RIDGID would naturally have an increase in their quality, right?

      Sherlock,

      I believe that Emerson still controls the specifications that TTI uses to build the RIDGID tools that they manufacture. An acquisition of Milwaukee by TTI shouldn't affect the quality of RIDGID stickered tools at all.

      I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

        It depends if TTI will use technology in Milwaukee tools toward Ryobi. My guess is they will not because some of the technology will cost money.
