  • TS3650 vs TS2400

I noticed that the jobsite saw 2400 is 15 amps while the 3650 is only 6.5 amps. Anyone have any complaints in regards to power for the 3650? I wonder why the 2400 which is priced less seems to have more power or does it, am I missing something? Does it have to do with the pully drive vs the direct drive?

    3650 is 13 amps at 115v, 6.5 amps at 220 v.

Direct drive motors are notoriously overrated as to HP.

Thanks for the clarification, I was just going on what the HD website said. I feel much better that the 3650 is 13 amps rather than 6.5. I guess that does it, I will be a new 3650 owner by this afternoon.

We just bought that & got the heavy thing home to put together & parts were missing.........lousy customer service - they won't send the parts for 10-14 days, which really holds up our project. We're considering returning the saw -
