  • R841150 Hammer drill chuck won't open

I have a less than 1 year old R841150 Hammer drill and the chuck has some rust on it and I can't get the bit out. The drill has never been wet, I guess the rust is from it being in my garage. Anyone know if this is covered under waranty or can I replace the chuck? Thanks

Rust usually is a sign of neglect so I doubt if it would be considered a warranty problem. If you can find it, try spraying some PB Blaster Penetrating Catalyst on the chuck. Let it sit for a few minutes and then try and get the bit out.
