  • Yo Yo Yo $5 deal is back

Woodcraft has thier anti-kickback bits on sale for $5 each again. This time they have a bunch of new profiles to choose from, including top and bottom bearing flush trim and a dovetail. 19 different ones instead of the same old 10. http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx...fcode=06IN03RL

I needed a couple things from Woodcraft so I decided to try a couple of these bits, I shied away from them in the past sales and had convinced myself to only buy premium bits but at $5 you really can’t go wrong, provided they don’t turn into shrapnel. Besides, can you really ever have too many router bits?

Thanks PapaDan for the heads up on that.

I hesitantly grabbed a few of these a few sales back. I've been surprised and happy with the bits. I've been rougher with the straight bits than I would normally, and they have stayed sharp. Now, I grab a few at each sale. The new profiles Dan mentions are on the list, especially the flush trim.

I started using these bits a couple years ago, and stock up whenever they have this offer. Only 1/2" bits I own except my cabinet set. Never had a problem with them.

            Are these internet prices?

Can these bits be purchased at their local stores? I have one close by.

Yes you can get that price at the stores. If your store is like mine, they normally will have 5 different bits in stock for this deal. I ordered 10 and paid $8 shipping. Got them in 2 days. The next time they run this deal I will stock back up on the ones I used the most up to that time. I have one roundover that has been used enough to need sharpening, but the local shop wants more then they cost.
