  • 18v Max 2.5 Ah Battery vs. Charger?

    Hello All,

Can anyone confirm if the new Max 2.5 Ah batteries can be charged on the "old" chargers (charger I currently use came with R921 kit - Rapid Max Twin 30 Minute Dual Port)? If so, any special conditions?

    Thanks,

Yes they can be charged on the older charger. I've had no problems to date.

Thanks Gentleman! Can I assume that their will be no warranty issues also?

don't think so, charger just does its thing til the battery is full, and battery takes charge. As long as the charger is rated for the specific battery voltage the AH of the battery is irrelevant. It just takes a bit longer to charge a higher Ah capacity battery
