Re: Save money on wipe on Poly

I checked the can and the thinner is made from MS. I am appliyng the poly in my basement so it should be warm and dry enough. The milky spots are random. Could it be the poly was not spread thin enough and puddled causing the MS to dry before the poly causing the poly to dry white?
I steel wooled the entire project with #0000 and applied another coat ensuring it was spread even. Now I just have to wait and see what happens.
I did put two coats of Min-Wax Natural stain on but allowed it to dry for three days before appliying the poly. I am new at this so any help is welcome.
    Thanks
