  • Ts3650 Blade Upgrade

I replaced the stock blade on my TS yesterday with a Freud lu84 50t combo blade and I have to tell you it completely changes the saw. At first, I was afraid that I had excessive arbor runout because I noticed a very slight wobble in the stock blade. After installing the new blade, the wobble was gone. The added benefit of the blade is how quiet it is comparitively speaking, the saw seems to hum. Almost glueline rips although a bit slow to feed on thick stock. Crosscuts are very nice as well.

Yep, a blade upgrade is the best upgrade for the saw out of the box you can buy. In my opinion.

Wait until you have both a good rip and cross cut blade for your saw. You'll really have fun then. For the cross cut blade, I think you'll be bet off going for a full kerf type over a thin kerf. They are stiffer and run truer.
