I've never bought or sold anything on ebay but its my understanding anyone can do either there. That being the case, any RIDGID Dealer from HD to the local Plumbing Distributor can offer RIDGID tools for sale there. Wouldn't take much to setup a front company if they felt they needed to protect their identity.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
Whay you may want to look into first is if the EBAY seller is legitimately offering the product warranty or is he / she selling the item after being the initial purchaser. Legit companies such as Toolking out of Colorado sell on EBAY and offer the items as a retail seller so you get warranties with your purchase. I have bought PC power tools with warranties from that site and have been very happy with my purchases. BUT REMEMBER....EBAY subscribes to the old addage, ***Let the buyer beware***
