  • Interstate battery for DeWalt and B&D drills?

I came across this on eBay and then checked the Interstate Battery site. Guess DeWalt's patent has run out and now others can make batteries for their products. Anyone ever used em????

I purchased a 18v a couple months to replace one that would not hold a charge for very long. It seemed to be working fine, but while installing some gable louvers for a attic ventilation system on horse barn I managed to drop the darn drill 3 times in one morning. The fall was approx 24 feet to the ground. The last drop broke the battery. (Third times the charm right )

Anyway, I iwll probalby purchase from them again.

That's actually a pretty good endorsement! LOL

I bought 2 18v xrp's about a year and a half ago and one is dead. Really dissappointed with the xrp line. I like the old XR black battery better. Might have to give the Interstate a try. Thanks.
