    To tell you the truth you could probably do a better job with a wobble dado that the results you have posted. Not saying it is your fault even though this is your first dado set, it is the quality of the HF dado that I question.

      Of course it's not my fault. Seriously though, there is no way operator error could account for the bottom of the cut to have such a great amount of arc. It is very plain to see the blades each have a different radius.

      I did consider the fact that the arbor hole for each blade could be too loose which would cause the blades to be mounted at differing radiuses. But, each one does fit pretty snug on the arbor. I also measured the blades with a digital caliper and there is quite a bit of difference in radius between the longest and shortest radius.
