  • Attaching wood to rip fence for use with dato blade

I just bought the TS2424 and I am looking for the best way to attach a board to the rip fence for use with a stacked dato blade. My old saw had screw holes for this purpose.

    Any ideas? (Knew you would...)

A square head bolt works, but if time is an issue you can use clamps. oh it's dado not dato. Just trying to help.

Just make sure that the piece you use as an auxilliary fence is straight, else you're going to have all sorts of problems. I tend to use a bit of plywood scrap.

        Dwight,

There should have been 3 square headed bolts that were included with your saw to mount an aux. fence. If you cannot find them, you can order them from www.ridgidparts.com . The part number is 159653-3.

Andy, Robert and Jake, thanks very much!

I found the bolts and I'm off and running.

There's something very gratifying about spending and evening with your stacked dado blade!
