    for those of you interested i have the dewalt scms and the one drawback is that the incremental degrees on either left or right on the throat are parallel with the floor and are more difficult to get accurate without looking over the top of the saw. From looking at the pop-up for Ridgid the incremental degrees are perpendicular ro the floor and are facing you. That makes it much easier to make your cuts more accurately

      (Disappointed)... I can't find a copy of "Workbench Magazine" anywhere in town... We have to drive out of town for almost everything...

            I can't find a cpoy of Workbench magazine anywhere for the SCMS review. Can someone please tell me how Ridgid faired, also what is the #1 recommended SCMS, according to the article. Thank you.....

              The Makita and the DW came in 1st and 2nd with the new Bosch close behind. The Ridgid was right behind the Bosch.
