I have the ts3650 (love it) and I want build a router table extension so I can take advantage of the fence (not to mention lack of space), just wondering if anybody have any good ideas/suggestions or mabey even pics of what they have done.
I made a router table (extension) out of a Craftsman contractor's saw top (20"x27"). Using a 4.5" grinder with a 1/16" wheel I made a cut out to fit a plate from Hartville Tool. I had to install some "ledges" to hold the insert and I used some burled walnut to fashion a "plug" for the remnant of the original insert oval. I have used it on a zip code saw and now on a Griz 1023. I use the miter slot that is behind the cut out to mount my fence using the blocks/screws that come with plastic finger boards. You can find the saw tops on ebay all the time.
