  • Ease of Trunion Adjustment

Man, I've got to say I was scared of this. If anybody could screw this up beyond repair it would be me. However, all the posts are correct. I just finished adjusting my blade to be perfectly (.001) parallel to my miter slot. No muss, no fuss.
Has anyone tried Ridgid's T3 combo blade? I can't find any reviews.

    Re: Ease of Trunion Adjustment

The Ridgid "Titanium" blades are made by Freud, and are decent in my experience. I've tried the 60T but not the 50T combo. The T3's are comparable to the Freud Diablo and Avanti series best I can tell, but tend to be priced comparably to the Freud Industrial blades, which are a step up. The T3's don't seem to go on sale too often, but the Freud Industrial blades do, so are typically the better value, and better performers.

        Re: Ease of Trunion Adjustment

I'm currently using the 50t T3 blade on my TS and I am very happy with it. The cuts are smooth and burn free and the saw runs "quiet", does not whistle as some blades do.
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
