      Easier than what? If you mean the laminate flooring, the TS2400 uses a lot thinner material for the inserts. 5/16" thick is a little too thick and the edges have to be cut down to get level with the table top.

        I ordered one of these from amazon a few months ago and have been very satisfied. They are well made, fit well and the material is not flimsy.

          i made my ZCI from a piece of MDF. just cut and sanded it to size and then jointed it til it sat flush

            I ordered a couple of those and used one for a stacked dado stacked to 3/4 inch. They are nice pieces and fit real nice.

            I also made an MDF one for a regular full kerf blade, but no jointing needed here...I used 1/2 inch MDF.
