  • off topic - stars ?

Where the heck are my stars at ? They're not under my name like everyone elses. Am I being punished ?

When you want to thank someone for a contribution (or the opposite), you can rate them. The way the others on the forum rate you is reflected in the stars.

      Charlie,
I understand that. I used to have 3 of them showing under my name but no more. There are 3 in my profile but still not under my name.

      How come?

go to "my prifile" and then "view/update profile.
near the bottom make sure the "yes" button is checked that allows others to see your ranking.
If it's checked yes, the board gods have stripped you of stars.

              Woody,

If it's checked "yes" I'd think others could see the rating. If it's checked no then the board gods have stripped me of it, correct ? In any case it's checked yes

Why would the board gods strip me of my stars ?
