  • Where to buy wood in Cincitucky?

I'm hoping that someone may pass through here who knows a good place to buy wood in the Northern Kentucky area (or Cincinnati too). I have purchased from both of the big box stores and from Rockler's Cincinnati Store, but I was hoping to find out about another local source. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately I am from no where near your area, but when I started out, I looked in the phone book under saw mills. I then went and visited each of them, and first thing I was looking for was which one seemed to connect with me. I didn't want somebody that was going to just sell me some lumber, I wanted somebody that knows what I am looking for. Take a look at their kiln, take a look at how they stack lumber, and check the overall quality of the lumber. Shouldn't take you long to find somebody you will be visiting on a regular basis.

      USNDALGE,

I live in the Cincinnati area and have found wood at the Rockler store in Tri-county and also at the WoodCraft store in Fairfield.

Let me know if you run across any other sources in our area, I will do the same.
