    Afternoon all,
    I'm trying to find info on how to make ZCIs for my circular saws. I have tried the interner, but i've come up empty. Any help out there on where i could get the info from?

    I've not tried this, but it looks reasonable and I've thought about doing it.

    From Shop Notes 120 Tips & Techniques book (pg 32) there is zci for a circular saw. Briefly it consist of an auxiliary plate (1/4" hardboard) fastened to the bottom of the saw. The zci part extends back from the front of the blade only about 3/4", then the blade opening is widened to permit the blade guard to swing down. This plate is attached to the saw's bottom plate with 4 flat head machine screws.

    Lets us know how this idea works.

      Thanks, I think I may have that. I know that I saw it somewhere, but I was not sure. I thought that there would be something on the net, but I will now look thru my mags to see if i can find that there.
