  • TP1302 - Good price?

Local pawn shop has this model for $259. Assuming normal use, is this a good price?

Not from a pawn shop. Offer $100.

Bingo....AFAIK, the 1302 does not have a cutterhead lock, which puts in line with other new planers in the $200 range....so from a pawnshop $100 is about all I'd offer. Haven't I been reading that you can get the Ridgid for ~ $310 with the current promotions?

Watch for the sales at Lowe's. In March Lowe's discounted all of their power tools by 15%. The last two years, my HD has met and beat that discount when I tell them about Lowe's sale. I just paid $270 for the R4330.
