  • Proper setup.

I bought a TS2412 last year and it ran pretty well out of the box. I did lots of rough cutting and nothing to exacting. This Summer I really had the time so I decided to set the saw up as fine as I could get it. I put a new Freud blad on it and followed the instructions to heel the blade and they worked ok. I would suggest slightly loosening the center trunion nut on the front and loosening the other 5. After I had readjusted the heel this thing cuts amazingly!!! With the new blade it cut 3/4 oak plywood so smooth I could edge band it without a worry. I really enjoy this saw!!!

Glade to hear it. That always a great feeling when you get a saw set up just right, then cut that first board and its a smooth and straight.
