  • Router Table for 2412 TS

Hi, I am not sure if this question has been asked before but I cannot find any info on it...
I would like to replace the right side extension table of the saw with a router table that could be used with the existing rip fence. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket table available or where I might find a plan specific to the Rigid TS?
I think that using the table saw base would be much more steady than any other type of router table....and save some space in the shop.

    Thank you,

The only router table available to replace an extension that I know of off the top of my head is a unit made by Craftsman. Rockler also makes a router table mounted to a table saw but it more of a table that is just bolted to the saw rather than a replacement of an extension.

    Hope this helps!

Daniel, I figure you're referring to the ProTop Extension (RT250) from Bench Dog, right? It is a laminated MDF table, not cast iron.

The only solid cast iron router table manufacturer I'm familiar with is NuCraft. Here is a company (that I know NOTHING about, they just showed up in a search) that sells NuCraft: http://www.sawdustsales.com/mall/nucraft.asp
