  • Table saw outfeed table

Have any of you woodchucks built an outfeed table or extension for the 2424? If so, I'd love to hear how you did it, and how well it works with the Herc-u-lift. I'm thinking of designing something with supports angled back to the rear legs so as not to have two more legs on the floor. Any thoughts?

John, there's an article in Wood magazine (Issue 117, Nov 1999) that shows one way to do this and, as an added benefit, they use the TS2424 as the subject. It's a split table with the backmost section on a hinge. There are detailed instructions and a materials list. It looks like a good plan. I haven't yet built it myself but it's 'on my list'.

You can order back issues on their web site for about $7.00 and no shipping charge as I recall.web page

    Good luck.

if you go to the Rockler site you can find their table saw outfeed table assembly instructions. I just built mine from their plan.
