  • BS1400 and urethane tires

Has anyone put the orange urethane tires from Rockler on their BS1400 series saw? I picked up some of the blue Carter ones that Woodcraft sells but they seem to be too narrow for the wheels and have the tendancy to migrate to the back of the wheel while making aggressive cuts like resawing.

Oh, I'm looking for specific info on which urethane tires fit the BS1400 well, NOT general opinions on the saw; I've read enough of those here already.

    Thanks,
    Peter

For what it's worth, check out Suffolk Machinery. Though I don't own the tires they offer, I had an extensive conversation with someone there and he was very informed on the subject. In fact he talked me out of buying them b/c he said my saw was too new to buy them.

The rockler tires work great, unlike the stock ones which came off one day for no apparent reason.
