    Hi,

    Anbody have plans, or know where to find plans (preferably free) for a "Norm like" miter saw station?

    You should be able to find one or two at this site. The very first listing at the top of the left column should keep you busy looking for an hour or two.
    Teach your kids about taxes..........eat 30 percent of their ice cream.

      Shop notes number 58 has a nice one that can be portable. Number 11 also has one.

          Here is my version of a miter saw table. It was in the book "The Complete Small Shop" a supplement to August Home Publications. I believe that it is also available at Plans Now. The wings come off and store in the base to make it portable. The fences are stored on the back using the same bolts that hold them in fence position.

          I added a trash bag carrier for catching some of the sawdust and small cutoffs.

          Use it on a Workmate, a bench, sawhorses or the ground if needed.
