  • Super Bar Table Saw Gauge

Anybody use one of these, alone or with the Master Plate? I read about folks checking runout on their blade and assume (dangerous I know) that you would use something like this. Seems to be a good tuning tool but, being new to this, I am open to suggestions.

Get a dial indicator from HF for 6 bucks or so, mount it on a piece of 1/4" allthread, clamp it to your miter gauge, run your blade all the way up, and you have saved lots of money. You also have a tool to check your blade and arbor runout.
You don't want to use a warped blade anyway, do you?

That stuff is like fishing lures, made to catch an angler, not necessarily a fish.
