My wife wants me to replace our old iron railing with a nice wood railing.
Being new to woodworking my first thought was , but i'm sure i can do it with some advise.

Here's a couple various projects from the past year around the house.
The mirror is the same one I posted before, but is now shown hanging on the wall instead of in the shop.
A Pizza Peel which the LOML wanted for a decoration in the Kitchen. Sorry but this photo is not the best, got messed up when I resized it.
A table lamp made from quarter-sawn oak with a night light in the base, I plan to make a floor lamp to go with this. Got the material except for one piece, just need to set aside the time. The missing component is a swing arm in brass used on floor lamps. I have searched many places on the net and various local shops and not found anything close to what I want. I may end up stealing the one off the floor lamp this will replace as it is in good shape, but it is strange that one is not to be found.
