• Tenon jig for TS2424

I am looking for a tenon jig for my TS2424. Ridgid doesn't make one. Does anyone know if the Delta jig will fit correctly on Ridgids saw? Does anyone know of any other good aftermarket jigs out there?? Thanks.

Gary, do a search on tenon jigs. This has been covered ad-nauseum. Short answer: yes Delta will work by sanding miter bar.

I guess the "other" good one would be the Jet/Powermatic one (same device, different colors). It is quite similar to the Delta, probably close enough to pick the one with the lower price.

Same as Delta, light sanding will fit the bar to the Ridgid.

I was lucky, my Delta Tenoning Jig fit my Ridgid TS2424 without sanding but I'm in a minority of one I believe. My buddy's needed sanding. Good luck.

Gary: Check out the latest issue of Fine Woodworking there is an artical showing how to make a Tenoning Jig. I have'nt read the whole artical but it look like a good jig. You wont have a problem with it fiting the mitter slot since you make the slide to fit the rail. I hope this helps.

There is also a neat home-built design in DeChristoforo's "Table Saw Book" (Tab Books, 1988).
