If safety is so important, then why does the saw come with a guard that seems poorly thought out?

Actually the 3650 guard is considered by many to be the best stock guard available, especially since it is so easy to install and remove.

I don't know much about TS's but it seems to me that this guard is very difficult to adjust too exactly behind the blade.

What exactly is the problem you are having? Maybe we can help.

After playing with splitter it is finally setup right but I have a feeling once I get the time in with the saw as you have, i will still think it is sub par to the European set ups.
I would like a splitter that moves up and down with the blade and on angles.
I promise to use this setup though until I find something safer - thanks
