  • 2400's first test today

I had to take the "new to me" 2400 out today to install three banks of shutters on a "pick up job" I took to fill the weekend (as if it weren't already full). After chucking the stock blade and replacing with a thin kerf Marathon, I started it up and there was much less of a "bonk" in it's start compared to the one I had in 2000 for a week (I traded that one back in for the 2424 after experiencing a lot of vibration and a huge knocking sound and "bonk" on startup). The saw powered through 20 BF of Maple wihtout so much as a groan and with virtually no vibration. I must say I'm very impressed! Thanks Mike!

    Kelly,

Glad all is working out for you with the saw.

Now I hope to dig into my 3612 this week.
